Skin Peels
Aestetic skin peels are professional-grade treatments designed to target specific skin concerns, delivering results in resurfacing and retexturing your complexion.
What is a Skin Peel?
Skin peels use a blend of active acids to break down the bonds in the upper layer of your skin (desmosomes), stimulating exfoliation and promoting skin resurfacing. While primarily working on the epidermis, the peel also stimulates the dermis to boost collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production, resulting in a more youthful, refreshed appearance.
At Aestetic, we tailor each treatment to your unique skin needs and ensure a comfortable clinic experience. You’ll also receive personalised aftercare advice and a custom at-home skincare routine to optimise your results.
For the best results, we recommend an initial course of six treatments spaced over 12 weeks. This ensures a deep, lasting transformation for your skin.

Skin Needling
Skin Needling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is an advanced facial rejuvenation treatment that stimulates collagen production. This procedure uses a micro-needling pen device to create tiny channels in the skin, triggering the body’s natural healing process and allowing for deeper product penetration to enhance the skin’s appearance.
At Aestetic, we use a state-of-the-art medical device manufactured in Korea. This ARTG-registered device ensures clinical-grade results backed by science and research.
What Is Skin Needling?
The treatment involves the use of fine needles to create micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating the body’s healing process. As the skin repairs itself, collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid are produced, leading to a smoother, more youthful appearance. During the treatment, we infuse a sterile ampoule containing potent active ingredients tailored to your skin’s needs, followed by a soothing hydrating sheet mask to complete the process.

Following skin needling, the skin barrier is temporarily weakened, so it’s essential to follow post-care instructions to support healing and optimise results.

24-48hrs hours post-needling: Your skin will feel tight and warm, skin redness and sensitivity to be expected. Avoid touching the area for 4 hours, sun exposure, swimming, saunas, spas, or excessive sweating.
2-5 days post-needling: The skin may feel dry and tight, with some flaking or peeling.
Aftercare
Avoid picking at flaky skin or using harsh exfoliants (chemical AHA/BHA or physical) for at least 5 days. Refrain from extended sun exposure and always wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen. Follow your post-needling instructions and CSA routine for optimal results. Avoid tanning and waxing for 4 weeks.

Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliation treatment that effectively removes dead skin cells and fine, vellus (fluffy) facial hair, leaving the skin feeling smooth, plump, and radiant.
Using a specialised surgical blade, the top layer of your skin is gently exfoliated, revealing a brighter, healthier complexion. Not only does this improve the appearance of your skin, but it also enhances the absorption of skincare products, allowing them to penetrate deeper and work more effectively.
In addition to treating the epidermis (outer skin layer), dermaplaning stimulates collagen and elastin production in the dermis, helping to boost the skin’s natural elasticity and radiance.

How does Cosmelan work?
The Cosmelan formula contains an exclusive combination of active ingredients with proven efficacy, which act on all stages of the hyperpigmentation process to completely eliminate existing hyperpigmentation, preventing both their reappearance and the appearance of new dark spots.
Regulating Action
Cosmelan works at two levels: At the first level by inhibiting the activation of tyrosinase inside the melanosome, reducing the oxidative stress, and thereby reducing melanin synthesis; at a second level, by containing copper chelators (Cu2+) tyrosinase function is reduced. Cosmelan acts by blocking the transfer of the melanosome to the keratinocytes, thereby preventing movement of the pigment to the superficial layers of the skin.
Corrective Action
It acts by reducing the amount of melanin synthesised, reducing the intensity of the dark spot. It also acts on the stratum corneum, stimulating the renewal of the epidermis and intensively eliminating the accumulation of melanin.
